Our Story

Why We Built Availon

We're Allen and Maggie, and like many of the businesses we serve, we understand what it means to work hard, stay busy, and still feel like there's never enough time in the day. While building this company, we kept coming back to one problem we saw over and over again — missed calls turning into missed jobs.

In today's world, customers expect a fast response. If they don't get one, they move on. That means even when you're doing everything right out in the field, you could still be losing business without even realizing it.

That's why we built Availon.

Availon automatically responds to missed calls, engages with customers, and helps book jobs — so you can stay focused on your work without worrying about what you're missing. We built this for real businesses — plumbers, HVAC technicians, electricians, roofers, and service professionals who are constantly on the move.

At the end of the day, this isn't just software. It's a tool designed to help business owners save time, stay organized, and focus on what matters most — growing their business and taking care of their customers.

If you've ever missed a call and wondered if it cost you a job — we built this for you.

Allen & Maggie McClendon

Co-Founders, Availon

Availon was built by Allen and Maggie McClendon — a husband-and-wife team based in Oklahoma who understand firsthand what it takes to run and grow a business.

Between them, they bring years of experience leading operations, managing teams, and keeping businesses running efficiently. But more importantly, they've seen the same problem over and over again — business owners spending too much time dealing with systems, tools, and processes that don't actually make their lives easier.

That's what led to Availon.

Allen was born and raised in Oklahoma and has spent over 15 years leading operations — building systems, solving problems, and helping businesses run more efficiently.

He's worked inside large organizations where he saw how much time and effort gets lost to broken processes and unnecessary complexity. That experience shaped how he builds — with a focus on simplicity, efficiency, and real-world usability.

Everything Allen builds is designed with one goal in mind: make things work better for the people actually doing the work.

Maggie is the operational heart of Availon. She brings a strong sense of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to keep everything aligned and moving forward.

Her experience managing operations and supporting teams gives her a clear understanding of what it takes to keep a business running smoothly day to day. She focuses on creating structure, maintaining consistency, and ensuring that every part of the business delivers on its promise.

As co-founder and registered agent, Maggie ensures that Availon provides a professional, reliable experience that business owners can count on every day.

Kaylee, Graythan, and Colbie are the reason Allen and Maggie work as hard as they do — and the reminder that building something meaningful takes more than a good idea. It takes a family willing to bet on it together.
