Effective Date: April 10, 2026 · MAC Software Solutions LLC
1. Required Consumer Disclosure
Availon requires all business subscribers to display the following notice wherever their phone number is advertised — including their website, Google Business Profile, and marketing materials:
“By calling us, you may receive a follow-up text from our office if your call goes unanswered. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.”
2. Required Elements
Every disclosure must include all of the following:
- Notice that the customer may receive an SMS if their call goes unanswered
- “Message and data rates may apply”
- How to opt out (“Reply STOP”)
- Business name identification in the first message
3. How the Opt-In Works
- Consumer calls the business’s advertised phone number
- If the call goes unanswered, the consumer receives one automated SMS reply
- The message identifies the business by name and includes opt-out instructions
- Additional messages only occur if the consumer chooses to reply
- Consumers can opt out at any time by replying STOP
